SAP Has Job Opportunities for Programmers

While Information Technology employment news has mostly been negative, not all companies are laying off programmers or application developers. SAP is one company that continues to grow, allowing its SAP consultants to be highly paid and in high demand. Sales Consultants Inc. of Dallas, for instance, is seeking 40 SAP professionals to fill openings in North Texas.

SAP recently announced the selection of qualified companies to distribute its new SAP Business One solution to small and midsize businesses in the Dallas area. SAP chose Enterprise Solutions Group (ERG) and Global Enterprise Management Solutions (GEMS) were chosen as consulting and distribution agents for the Dallas area. Salary range for SAP consultants is from $70,000 to six digit salaries. These numbers were the salary range of Certified Novell Engineers (CNE), Microsoft Certified System Engineers (MCSE) and Certified Lotus Professionals (CLP) in the years past. While the salaries of most CNE, MCSE, and CLPs have been sliding down since 1999, SAP consultants have enjoyed continuous salaries increases.
